We started this company because we were tired of watching good drinks go warm. Not exactly a noble cause, but it was real. Back in 2016, our founder Dylan Jacob was sitting around with friends, annoyed that every can cooler on the market was basically a foam sleeve that worked for about ten minutes. So he built something better. That’s how it started—one guy who couldn’t stand a lukewarm beverage.
The first product was a can cooler that actually kept things cold. Not “sort of cold” or “cold for a little while.” Cold until the last sip. It sounds like a small thing, but if you’ve ever been at a tailgate or a backyard hang and had to dump half a drink because it turned into swamp water, you get it. That one product turned into a whole lineup, and the lineup turned into a brand.
Today we make insulated drinkware and coolers for pretty much every situation. Our Hopsulator series handles cans—slim, standard, bottles, big 24-ouncers. The Era tumblers are leakproof and built for people who carry their coffee or water everywhere. Resa handles straw situations. Rise is for hydration on the move. And then there are the soft coolers—backpacks, slings, totes—for when you need to haul a full day’s worth of drinks somewhere without ice turning into soup by noon.
A few things haven’t changed since day one. We use stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation because it works. We test everything obsessively—drop tests, leak tests, temperature tests, the kind of stuff that borders on unhealthy. And we design things to look good, because functional doesn’t have to mean boring. You’ll find bold colors, unique prints, and collaborations that keep things interesting. Some of our drops sell out in hours. We don’t do that on purpose. People just seem to like what we make.
We also stand behind what we sell. Drinkware carries a limited lifetime warranty. Coolers get five years. Not because we expect things to break, but because we know stuff happens, and we’d rather fix it than leave you stuck.
We’re a company that started with a small frustration and grew into something people actually care about. That still feels a little strange to say. But we’re glad you’re here.
